Sigma 35mm F2 DG | Contemporary (L-Mount)

The 35mm F2 is the everyday standard of Sigma's I series: a 325g, all-metal prime that puts build quality and handling ahead of outright speed. One SLD and three glass-molded aspherical elements correct axial colour fringing, field curvature and sagittal coma, and the L-Mount version is 65.4mm long with 58mm filters.

It has a knurled metal focus ring, a clicked aperture ring with an A position, internal focusing driven by a quiet stepping motor, and a 27cm close focus. A metal hood and a magnetic metal cap come in the box, and the mount has a rubber seal. On L-Mount it is offered in black and in silver, and supports linear/non-linear focus settings and the UD-11 dock. Sigma renamed it from DG DN to DG; Sigma says the optical performance is the same.
