The Acris 35mm is a 35mm lens that focuses down to true 1:1 at 18cm, with an APO design aimed at keeping colour fringing low. Laowa sells autofocus versions for Sony E, Nikon Z and Canon EF, but the Canon RF and L-Mount versions are purely manual lenses.
The manual L-Mount model differs from the AF versions in more than focusing: it has a 13-blade diaphragm instead of 9, a clicked aperture ring from f/2.8 to f/22, and a 67mm filter thread instead of 72mm. The optics are shared, with 13 elements in 10 groups including one ED and one ultra-high-refraction element, in an all-metal barrel.
