Optical character
The Acris 35mm is a rare full-frame 35mm that reaches 1:1. Laowa describes the optics as an APO design aimed at both longitudinal and lateral colour fringing.
The line is sold as an autofocus macro, but the Canon RF version is manual focus only, like the L-mount model. Laowa's German distributor lists it with a clicked aperture ring, a 13-blade diaphragm in place of the AF models' 9 blades and a 67mm filter thread (72mm on AF versions). Focus runs from infinity to 1:1 at 18cm, which leaves under 5cm of working distance.
